Your most essential marketing asset deserves the attention of a true expert.
Whether you’re launching a new business, planning a memorable event, or celebrating a special anniversary with a custom logo, I’ve got you covered, truly.
I’m Matthew Connar, a seasoned logo designer with a long-standing love for creating brand identities. After selling my digital marketing agency, BOOST Creative, in August 2024—a venture I built from the ground up since 2002—I’ve returned to my true passion: logo design. With years of marketing expertise under my belt, I’m dedicated to crafting designs that truly reflect your brand.

Though I now call Florida home, I proudly hold onto my Maryland roots. What’s not to love about a state where jousting is the official sport? I grew up at the foot of the Appalachian Mountains, often getting lost in nature’s wonders. My journey in design began at West Virginia University, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art with a focus on Graphic Design in 1999.
In 2002, I launched BOOST Creative, experiencing consistent growth for over two decades. Under my leadership, we served more than 500 clients and completed over 15,000 projects. As the creative director, I played a key role in nearly every logo we produced.
After the sale of BOOST Creative, I rebranded as Connar Enterprises to explore new opportunities, with TruLogos being my first venture.
Beyond design, I have a passion for vintage items, antiques, and artifacts. I run another business, The Adventure Room, where I buy and sell unique pieces, specializing in Polynesian, Tribal, Mid-century Modern, and Atomic Age items.
I’m also actively involved in my local Chamber of Commerce, serving on the Board of Directors and the Education Committee. As a former Board Member of the Gulf Coast Symphony, I co-founded Taste of the Cape in 2013—a collaborative fundraising initiative benefiting both organizations.
My connection to West Virginia University remains strong; I return to Morgantown once a year to engage with faculty and students. I’ve participated in the Alumni In Residence Program, currently serve on WVU’s College of Creative Arts & Media Visiting Committee, and mentor students through WVU’s Creative Consultant Professional Mentorship Program.
As a serial entrepreneur with a proven track record, I take pride in my work—but my greatest joy comes from my family, which includes my wonderful wife and our four children.
